The acid lake Kawah Talagabodas

On the drive to Garut we got the opportunity for a hike for several hours, through the very beautiful jungle to the acid lake of the Kawah Talagabodas.
 

 


This acid lake is close to the more well-known Galunggung. At the lakeshore numerous mud pots are brewing. The lake itself has the pH value of  2.
